Carpe Diem 7

Truly wonderful experience. Carpe Diem 7 and the crew were a real delight. Food served onboard is top, better than some of the local restaurants we tried. Highly recommended.

It was amazing!!! The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and consistently pleasant to be with during the whole week. Food was over the top fabulous. Your restaurant recommendations were really enjoyed by everyone. They prepared a wonderful surprise dinner (with birthday cake) for Doug (turn 70 while on board) … thank you for a wonderful holiday!

I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our fabulous vacation aboard Carpe Diem 7. It was the vacation of a lifetime. The captain, chef, and first mate(tress) we genuine, authentic, and delivered amazing service. The boat was beautiful and had a personality of its own. As a seasoned water skier, I was delighted to be able to ski in the Adriatic Sea.

This was one of the best holidays we had as a family. Carpe Diem 7 is a beautifully built vessel but the crew are one of the most delightful people to have onboard. If you are looking for a fantastic family holiday look no further!

We had a fantastic week onboard. The weather has let us down a bit but the crew made it so special for us. Mateo, Bartul, Mirjana and Niko are top class crew.

We had the most wonderful time together on Carpe Diem. Starting with the airport transfers, everything went extremely smoothly. Our Captain and crew were absolutely superb in every way. We found the food to be of a very high standard on board and the service was excellent and perfect for us. Both crews were invited to the meal on Mljet and we were then treated to the most wonderful singing by the restaurateur, his staff and Frano joined in with a heavenly baritone which made our evening complete, an unforgettable occasion!!!

‘’It fell to me to seek a charter company after the 6 of us decided on a week sailing in Croatia for our next holiday. I selected Dora from her excellent website and we met at her London office to explain we are 3 middle-aged couples who have enjoyed vacations together, but not regular sailors. She showed appreciation for making the hour’s journey to meet her personally. After narrowing down dates, location, boating experience, etc, Dora went carefully through a selection of her portfolio identifying the pros and cons of each boat. She is very professional and knows all of her client skippers and their boats individually. We narrowed the choice to 4 – two power boats and two gullets, all adequately displayed on her website. I circulated this info to my friends and it became an easy choice – a beautiful gullet named Carpe Diem based at Split. I think Dora knew we would choose this boat before I left her office ! From then on nothing was too much trouble. Throughout, she gave the impression we were her only clients. We agreed dates, cost, cruising options, meal and drink options, local transfers, etc all handled by Dora patiently. She even recommended 3 restaurants; we tried 2 and very glad we did. I have already begun a dialogue for another Croatian charter and personally very happy to recommend Dora Vulic to fix your next holiday too.’’

The trip was extraordinary: the splendour of the Carpe Diem, with its ample accommodations and the craftsmanship of the ship itself; a crew that was gracious and knowledgeable; food that was a regional delight; and the sites and experiences that were unforgettable. Frano and Lorena were the perfect hosts.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for arranging what truly was THE VACATION OF A LIFETIME!!!The boat itself is very special so we fell in love the moment we boarded (in the freezing cold and pouring rain!!). But it was the crew that made our time on the water so very special. Frano and Lorena are the kindest, warmest hosts you could ever hope to meet and they went above and beyond in more ways than I can list to see to it that our adventure was spectacular!! Matteo (the cook) did a magnificent job with every meal - we were blown away by the fact that he is only 24 years old!! Vid, our deckhand, although quiet and rather reserved was extremely kind and helpful and always seemed to be right there if you needed something.
