Captain: Konstantinos Politis
Konstantinos has always been in a close relationship with the sea. At the age of 6, he joined the local sailing club team and learned how to sail, how to predict the weather, and how to act on multiple occasions.
In 2002, having participated in numerous national regattas, he was given a sailing coach position at a local sailing club. In 2008, he went to school to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering specialising in boat engines. Having attended numerous seminars and technical classes with a focus on both mechanical and structural parts of a boat, he even founded his own maintenance company.
From 2016 to 2021, he was the production manager at BSK-Skipper, one of the largest and upcoming R.I.B. companies in Greece and was able to visit and experience numerous world class shipyards.
Throughout his experiences and the different professional paths he took in the yachting industry, he realized that the ultimate role that he wants to pursue is that of a yacht captain. That role combines his love for the sea together with the satisfaction that he receives when the guests enjoy a wonderful sailing trip. Since 2018 he is working as a Captain on both sailing and motor yachts (50-68ft).
In conclusion, Konstantinos’ technical skills in addition to his yachting experience will ensure an unforgettable time on board!
