Justin Mornhinweg’s path in the marine industry started when he became a scuba instructor in Louisville, Kentucky in 2015 which led to a position with a live-aboard charter company in Nassau, Bahamas in 2016. That role in the Bahamas further sparked his passion for yachting, and he embarked on his current career path toward becoming a Captain. Along his journey he has held positons as Mate, Deckhand, and Engineer.
With his strong work ethic and positive attitude, he has been completing his certifications over the past four years while also working as First Mate and Engineer on charter vessels, including two years previously on board EMRYS. He looks forward to continuing the amazing charter program that has been built up over the years and passed along from previous Captain Des.
His colleagues and friends would best describe him as a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is a great team player. Justin looks to make the best of any situation and continuously shows up with a smile and positive attitude.
Aiming to provide top of the line service, Justin returns to 98’ EMRYS to captain a once and a lifetime charter experience.

Tammy grew up in the beautiful coastal town of Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. With both of her parents being lovers of the ocean, her toes were crunching in sand from a very young age. While studying at the University of South Africa she worked in the family IT business, waitressed, and started scuba diving full time. By the end of 2013, she was a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and Operational Manager of the Dive Center in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. In the summer of 2015, she was hired as a Scuba Diving Instructor in The Bahamas, working across the Company’s 4 boats for over 7 years.
During her boating career, Tammy has learned to engineer, cook for 25+ people on a rolling sailboat, and run their weeklong charters to the outer islands. In 2019 she became Relief Captain and in 2021, became full time Captain of her first vessel.
Tammy is known for being positive, having a loud laugh, and knowing random facts. She is a quick learner, dynamic crew member, and prides herself on working efficiently. She aims to provide a great charter experience that is memorable, relaxing, and exceeds guest expectations.
In her spare time, Tammy devours books eagerly, her passion is being curious
Anthon Johnson - Chef

Anthon Johnson is a Bahamian chef who has been in the culinary industry for over 19 years, leading with his passion and superior culinary knowledge. Prior to joining the yachting industry, Chef Anthon has worked at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, as a Head Chef, as well as at Albany Bahamas as their Sous Chef.
Chef Anthon specializes in French, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian and Vegan options. He is sure to go above and beyond for every guest and will always cater to any specific dietary requests. He is easy going, a team player, humble and will also be sure to show his bubbly personality. His eagerness to show clients a five star experience is evident in all of his work.
When not aboard charter, you can find Chef Anthon working out, participating in karate and self defense, as well as spending time with his family. His motto is “love even in the darkest of times”. Chef Anthon can’t wait to give guests aboard 98’ EMRYS a taste of his Bahamian heritage with a twist. His exceptional fruit carving skills are also not to be missed!
Dian Korb – Mate

Dian grew up in the Rustenburg area in the northwest part of South Africa. He was raised on farms with his sister which brewed his love for animals.
Dian joined the yachting industry in 2015 when his best friend told him to quit his job as a transport manager and travel with him. He has since worked on both power and sail yachts ranging from 12 - 80 meters, holding various positions which have enabled him to gain experience in handling every situation professionally with a successful outcome. Dian is open-minded, kind, positive with a firm grip, and always available to lend a hand but his greatest asset is trust. He is dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the boat, while ensuring guests always feel safe and comfortable.
In his spare time, you can find Dian doing anything extreme. He loves extreme sports, off-road activities, water sports, and traveling, but his greatest passion is to grow in life.
Dian believes that life is about creating great memories, and he wants every guest who steps on board EMRYS to leave with an unforgettable experience where they always think back and smile.
