KITTIWAKE

In short... we loved it! It was truly a magical trip for all of us. Captain Brynn Did everything in his power to meet or exceed all the requests on our preference sheets. All of the anchorages were beautiful and secluded (as much as possible). We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling at various locations -- and most of the time it was only our group. Awesome! We experienced being under sail (fantastic) and also motoring when conditions weren't good for sailing. We fished and hooked something large, but unfortunately it broke the line -- very exciting! We saw turtles, dolphin, and several reef shark from the boat, and swam with the nurse sharks. We enjoyed relaxing sunsets from the boat with refreshing cocktails prepared by Brynn. Chef Erica What an amazing chef! We had no idea that meals aboard would be fine dining experiences -- never a duplicated dish and all beautifully presented. It is amazing how she was able to prepare such elaborate meals while underway -- with quite choppy seas in some cases. Unbelievable! While we all own boats and are accustomed to being on the water, none of us expected how much different (in a wonderful way) sailing would be from a motorboat. We are all looking forward to our next sailing vacation!

I wanted to write this review, because this was the best trip ever! Reflecting on my husband 60th Birthday Celebration, I couldn't have asked for a better way to Celebrate aboard the Catamaran Kittiwake and the Wonderful Crew Captain Brynn and our Chef Jennifer assisting with the meals. We have done a few charters in the past, but this one, was by far, the BEST ONE! The itinerary that our Captain Brynn organized for us, was so fun and relaxing, included everything we wanted to do and more. He was always very attentive to our needs and was very flexible to what we wanted to do. He went out of his call of duty to give us the best trip ever. My son brought his Kitesurf and Brynn was always there so support and assist with the kite. I felt they were just like family to us. Jennifer, our Chef also went out of her call of duty to create special meals for us so that we can enjoy our time exploring. We always wanted to be with both of them, it was so fun. We also felt so safe, on our last night in Paradise Island, the sailboat next to us wasn't anchored properly, of course we didn't know that until next morning, as we were sleeping, Thanks to Brynn who was up all night to keep us safe from the Sailboat to drift on us. We are world travelers. My kids have travelled the world, but at the end of this trip, they said it was their favorite trip of all. I highly recommend this crew, as the crew is what makes the difference to make your vacation a memorable one. Thank you for an amazing trip and can't wait for the next one. The Jones Family!

I need to tell you how awesome Brynn was to have as a captain. First and foremost he made us feel safe. He was very professional and obviously knew how to handle the boat. He took very good care of us. Secondly, and most importantly as a guest on vacation, he was fun! Once the boat was settled, he was social and had such a great personality. We had great conversations! He made our trip very enjoyable and I would recommend him as a captain to anyone!!! Thanks for arranging such a great week in the Bahamas!!

Our group of 4 did a charter in early April of this year. What an incredible experience! We had an unbelievable trip and we cannot wait to do it again soon! Captain Brynn truly made the whole experience for us. He is so capable, kind, and an amazing host and bartender. He took what would have been a great trip and made it exceptional. We look forward to the next time!

Thanks to Captain Wouts and Chef Kelly for an awesome week and experience! From the first day they both made us feel like we were family. The trip would not have been the same with anyone else. They made the kids feel comfortable and like family as well. It was such a pleasure getting to know them both and we look forward to seeing them again.

Best vacation ever - leaving the stresses of life behind! Wouts and Kelly are amazing humans and we are so thankful for them keeping our family safe while giving us the adventure of a lifetime. The places and exploration exceeded our imagination, the food was incredible, healthy, tasty - just amazing, but the company was the best! Thank you to Wouts and Kelly for sharing a bit of themselves with our family.

This was our first charter family vacation and wished we had done it sooner! It was the best family vacation we ever experienced. For the first time, as parents, we were not exhausted after the vacation for having to plan daily excursions and meals throughout the trip. Captain Wouts was incredible with our three teen boys. He kept them busy everyday. His patience and thoughtfulness with teaching the boys how to wakeboard was a highlight. Captains daily excursions were out of this world! He knew all the special spots and was able to get us in and out well before the tourist crowds. He was so kind and willing to answer all our yachting questions as we are planning on purchasing a similar boat when we retire. Chef/Crew Kelly was equally remarkable. Her food was out of this world! My picky boys cleaned their plate every single meal! She and Wouts kept our drinks full, bellies filled and memories over-flowing. By the end of the trip, they felt like family and it was hard to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this Crew enough for a family experience that will last a lifetime!

Capt Wouts and Chef Kelly made this trip an amazing time, we really enjoyed everything and we are so grateful to meet such lovely people - as they are - and to spend such a great time together! Thanks a lot for caring, we will never forget and hope to see them both again!

Capt Wouts and Chef Kelly are far better than we could've ever imagined. They are true professionals and have the absolute best personalities a charter guest could ask for. They're excellent with children and wise beyond their years. Kelly is an amazing chef, she went so far beyond our expectations. She's also a great crew member when Capt Wouts needed assistance with the anchor, dinghy, etc. The boat owner is very lucky to have found them. This trip, the boat, and most importantly the crew made this vacation worth every penny.

Wow! What an amazing trip! The crew both exceeded our expectations! So much thought and attention to detail made our trip the BEST sailing trip ever! Wouts and Kelly are talented, professional and fun and a perfect fit for us. We will certainly come back. Kittiwake is well managed, comfortable and great floor plan. We will see you again soon.

What an amazing week we have had sailing on the Kittiwake. Everything has been wonderful - From the blue ocean, the white sails, to the delicious food. We have loved exploring the Exumas on this sturdy vessel. We will be back!! -Charles & Camille My husband and I, along with two friends, decided to charter Kittiwake and sail the Exumas. I can say without reservation it was one of the most enjoyable and restorative vacations we've ever taken. The new boat was ultra-comfortable and spacious with plenty of places to curl up and read or watch the mind-blowing scenery unfold. And Kittiwake's many amenities provided a luxurious touch. Most importantly, though, was the crew. From the moment we came onboard, Captain Wouts and Chef Kelly took care of us in every respect. Their professionalism and commitment to our enjoyment never ceased to impress us. Wouts MUST have gotten tired of my incessant questions about the boat’s operation…...but you’d never know it. He’s a delight and went the extra nautical mile to take care of us. Chef Kelly produced the most delectable meals, including some award-worthy desserts. She’s a highly talented chef with a bright outlook, all of which is reflected in her dishes. There’s so much more I could say about this trip. Five out of five stars. What a great time! Wouts & Kelly were knowledgable, efficient and most of all, lots of fun. Wouts so patient with sailing instruction and especially the tying of knots. Kelly is an excellent cook of a wide variety of dishes. Both, however, are terrible card players, and Kelly won't be making singing her new career! Seriously though, would definitely run this trip back on Kittiwake and its great crew!
