Moon Dragon

What a holiday! We spent a week long trip on the MoonDragon exploring the BVI. I cannot say enough about how this trip far exceeded my wishes and expectations. Wouts, Kelly and Anton were the perfect team keeping us all needing absolutely nothing. Anton’s drinks were legendary and perfectly timed to spice up the party! I think he may be a bit magical. Kelly’s talents as a chef were just beyond fantastic. Every meal was a work of art visually and in flavor. Wouts kept us safe and sound and on schedule to see the most beautiful places on earth . The MoonDragon is a visually stunning catamaran with plenty of space to spread out if you need a quiet shady corner to read, comfortable cabins with plenty of storage, and comfy beds for a good nights sleep. The one suggestion would be a small fan in the cabin for airflow. (They may have them,I didn’t ask) We had a bit of weather, big swells, Wouts was on top of it planning perfect alternatives. The highlights for me was all the water sports, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and hydro foiling. Best night was when we decided to change going to the full moon party In Trellis bay and instead the crew planned our own full moon party on the boat. It was amazing!!!! All and all I cannot recommend the MoonDragon and her crew enough. I would give a hundred stars if I could. You always hear the crew makes the charter, yes it’s true. Wouts, Kelly and Anton are the perfect team we have only been home a day and I miss them like family. Bravo!!!

Fantastic trip! Our group of 10 spent a week on the Moon Dragon sailing around the BVI. Wouts, Kelly and Anton are a great team and make the perfect crew. Wouts picked all the best bays and beaches to anchor off and was flexible with plans according to weather and swell. We all felt very safe with him as our captain. Kelly is a wonderful chef and her food is delicious. Lots of variety and she accommodates everyones eating needs! Kellys meals are 5 star and her presentation and flavors are an inspiration. Anton makes cocktails all day long which makes for the best holiday! He has a witty sense of humor and kept us all laughing! The crew are always checking in to see what we might need. The boat is extremely luxurious and there is a lot of space. It never felt crowded for the 10 of us and 3 crew. There are lots of areas of the boat to sit and relax. Cabins are the perfect size with very comfy beds. We especially enjoyed all the water sports, hydro efoil boarding, snorkling, sea bobs, paddle boards and wake boarding. From the moment I arrived in St. Thomas until the departing goodbyes, the charter experience on Moon Dragon through the British Virgin Islands was nothing short of five-star service. We were greeted at the airport by our private driver, transporting us directly to the marina where Moon Dragon was docked. We were immediately greeted by the boat’s crew who had a welcome charcuterie board and tasty tropical cocktails. Our bags were promptly delivered to our rooms, which were outfitted with a large, comfortable bed, plenty of cabinets for storage of all my belongings, and a spacious bath area with a rainfall shower. Add in aromatherapy in the rooms, personalized thermostats, and numerous lighting options, no detail was missed in creating the perfect oasis. The 60’ yacht was extremely spacious, with various locations to spread out, relax and take in the views. With 10 guests and the 3 crew on board, there was a plethora of space for all. Speaking of the crew, Wouts, Kelly, and Anton were consummate professionals who delivered the perfect balance of professionalism, service, friendliness, and fun during the weeklong excursion. The yacht is also equipped with a bevy of waters toys to add to the luxury and excitement of the experience. From the pair of Seabob underwater scooters, an eFoil Hydrofoil (think motorized surfboard), a Sub-Wing that will have you darting and gliding underwater like a fish, to stand up paddleboards, a wakeboard, enough snorkeling gear to outfit the entire group of guests, and a floating island with chairs and a couch to kick back on and enjoy the sun! If eating well is your idea of happiness, then there will be no shortage of smiles, as Kelly prepared outstanding meals time and time again over the course of the week. She is very adept at her job and is very proficient at making any changes to accommodate allergies, food intolerances, or dietary restrictions. Anton is a legend! And while that may currently be self-proclaimed, it won’t be long before stories start spreading far and wide about his abilities and his name is written into history as the ultimate deckhand. He is your guy for the perfect cocktail and is at the ready to whip up whatever tasty beverage you may be craving! Wouts is the captain and was beyond reproach in his abilities. He was excellent in communicating with the guests in the morning and evening with his informal, yet informational daily briefings that let everyone know what the plan was the for the day and where we would be headed the following day. After a week sailing through the British Virgin Islands, visiting the many islands, sightseeing, swimming, relaxing and just enjoying all that nature has to offer in one of the most wonderful places on earth, all good things must come to an end. And while it’s sad to say goodbye, the five-star service with Moon Dragon did not end there. After unloading all the luggage, our driver was waiting at the marina to provide the guests with private transportation back to the airport and, sadly, back to reality. From the moment I arrived until leaving the island, everything that the Moon Dragon charter experience had to offer exceeded my expectations and easily surpassed any preconceived ideas of what I thought five-star service on a weeklong charter could be. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Moon Dragon to anyone. Do yourself a favor, escape reality for a week aboard the Moon Dragon, and you can thank me later!

Words can't simply express how incredible the past week was aboard the Moon Dragon. This was my very first time sailing aboard anything other than a commercial cruise ship, and I honestly don't think I'll ever sail any other way again! Not only was the yacht itself SPECTACULAR, the crew was knowledgeable, professional, and effortlessly ran the show. Each day we visited a different destination, we had the most incredible 5 star meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and snacks!), our rooms were always sparkling clean and refreshed. every supply you could think of was provided- you literally want for nothing aboard the Moon Dragon! The Moon Dragon was completely outfitted to the MAX for exceptional comfort and maximum fun! Not only does the yacht have paddle boards, floats and snorkel gear to use, but also SeaBobs and a foil surfing board too!! Fun games to play with your fellow passengers, cozy interior with the best linens and mattresses, Rituals of Sakura toiletries in the showers- everything was 5 Star! This was definitely a dream experience for me, and would be for anyone else who is drawn to the water... if I could give 1000 stars, I would! Definitely worth praising such an incredible boat charter experience!!

Went on a week long charter trip on the Moon Dragon sailing from the USVI to the BVI with a group of friends, wow! This was by far one of the best vacations that we've been on with a group of friends. It was also partially a trip to celebrate my 50th birthday and the crew made sure I was celebrated with aplomb! The Moon Dragon is a 60 foot long luxury catamaran that has every possible amenity you could want or need for a 7 day trip through the beautiful British Virgin Islands. Some of the water toys on board include seabobs, e-foil, paddle boards and a large floating deck to lounge on. Full bar, amazing menu, professional kitchen makes every meal something to look forward to. Luxury and opulence from start to finish. The crew of Kelly, Woutes and Anton is simply the best team that you'd want to run the yacht. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, flexible and attentive are just some of the superlatives that describe this trio. The itinerary has the perfect blend of days made for just relaxing and exploration, the crew and the wonderful owners Chris and Willie go out of their way to ensure that your requests are being met as much as possible prior to boarding the Dragon. The crew on the Moon Dragon made the experience out of this world. Chef Kelly prepared exquisite meals. The captain made sure we all felt safe and comfortable at all time's. The yacht is exceptional and very well appointed. All the water toys we had at our disposal were a lot of fun ,especially the E Foil board.

Just got back from a 2 week sail in the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea on the luxurious MOON DRAGON!!!!! You will not be disappointed booking your trip with Ocean Yacht Club. Thanks to Captain Wouts and Chef Kelly for an awesome week and experience! From the first day they both made us feel like we were family. The trip would not have been the same with anyone else. They made the kids feel comfortable and like family as well. It was such a pleasure getting to know them both and we look forward to seeing them again.

Best vacation ever - leaving the stresses of life behind! Wouts and Kelly are amazing humans and we are so thankful for them keeping our family safe while giving us the adventure of a lifetime. The places and exploration exceeded our imagination, the food was incredible, healthy, tasty - just amazing, but the company was the best! This was our first charter family vacation and wished we had done it sooner! It was the best family vacation we ever experienced. For the first time, as parents, we were not exhausted after the vacation for having to plan daily excursions and meals throughout the trip. Captain Wouts was incredible with our three teen boys. He kept them busy everyday. His patience and thoughtfulness with teaching the boys how to wakeboard was a highlight. Captains daily excursions were out of this world! He knew all the special spots and was able to get us in and out well before the tourist crowds. He was so kind and willing to answer all our yachting questions as we are planning on purchasing a similar boat when we retire. Chef/Crew Kelly was equally remarkable. Her food was out of this world! My picky boys cleaned their plate every single meal! She and Wouts kept our drinks full, bellies filled and memories over-flowing. By the end of the trip, they felt like family and it was hard to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this Crew enough for a family experience that will last a lifetime!

Capt Wouts and Chef Kelly made this trip an amazing time, we really enjoyed everything and we are so grateful to meet such lovely people - as they are - and to spend such a great time together! Thanks a lot for caring, we will never forget and hope to see them both again!

Capt Wouts and Chef Kelly are far better than we could've ever imagined. They are true professionals and have the absolute best personalities a charter guest could ask for. They're excellent with children and wise beyond their years. Kelly is an amazing chef, she went so far beyond our expectations. She's also a great crew member when Capt Wouts needed assistance with the anchor, dinghy, etc. The boat owner is very lucky to have found them. This trip, the boat, and most importantly the crew made this vacation worth every penny.
