Meet Ross Edwards, the exceptional Captain aboard the Pearl 80 yacht, Omnia. Hailing from the picturesque seaside town of Tenby in Pembrokeshire, Wales, Ross brings with him a wealth of experience and a true passion for the marine industry.

With over a decade of experience in yachting, workboats, and fishing sectors, Ross is a highly motivated and reliable professional. His friendly and approachable nature makes him an excellent fit for the demanding standards expected by both yacht owners and charter guests.

Ross's seamanship skills were developed in the challenging waters of the British Isles, where he learned the ropes as a young lad working as crew on Tenby Fishing Vessels, taking tourists on fishing day trips. This early exposure to the ocean instilled in him a deep love for the sea and a keen understanding of its intricacies.

Over the years, Ross has served as Mate/Engineer and Chief Officer on yachts up to 50 meters in length, further honing his expertise and knowledge in maintaining high standards on board. His engineering skills were refined during his tenure as Captain of a diverse fleet of Range Safety Vessels, where he worked for a logistics specialist marine contractor ensuring safe navigation in Military Firing Zones.

Ross's dedication to his craft extended beyond yachting, as he spent over a decade as a permanent crew member "on-call" with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). His involvement in search, rescue, and recovery missions at sea, alongside the Royal Air Force (RAF) search and rescue helicopters, showcases his unwavering commitment to saving lives and ensuring safety on the water.

Now, as the Captain of Omnia, Ross is delighted to share his expertise and passion for yachting with guests. Alongside his partner Sally Harvey, he ensures an unforgettable and seamless experience on board. With Ross at the helm, you can rest assured that you are in the hands of a skilled professional who values safety, excellence, and guest satisfaction above all else.

Allow us to introduce Sally, an exceptional crew member aboard MY OMNIA. With a background in customer service, hospitality, and catering from her previous career in the UK's hospitality industry, Sally brings a wealth of experience and a strong work ethic to her role.

Growing up by the sea and having lived abroad during her childhood, Sally developed a deep appreciation for maritime travel and a passion for global cuisine. This passion remains alive and strong in her adult life, making her a perfect fit for the yacht industry.

Sally's skills extend beyond her culinary prowess. As a versatile professional, she is adept at serving, bartending, making cocktails, and providing exceptional service to guests on board. Her experience as a Stewardess, Stewardess/Crew Cook, and Chef/Stew on previous yachts has honed her abilities to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of guests.

Whether working independently or as part of a team, Sally excels in her role. Her excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and efficient time management ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all on board. She consistently goes above and beyond, giving her utmost effort and dedication to every task.

Sally's friendly and outgoing personality makes her a joy to work with and instantly puts people at ease. Her bubbly nature, combined with her professionalism, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board MY OMNIA.

Together with her partner, Captain Ross, Sally is thrilled to be part of the crew of MY OMNIA as they explore the stunning Bahamian Islands.
