Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania and an Airforce veteran, Inki has had an exceptional life of travel. In 2008 he turned down his job promotions in the IT industry to sail from Mexico to Marquese Island with two strangers. His life changed drastically during the six months of island hopping across the South Pacific. Inki quickly became a citizen of New Zealand (2014), then spent years as delivery crew between NZ and the islands of the Pacific Ocean, obtaining nearly 30,000 nautical miles. He currently holds a USCG Master's Near Coastal license rated at 100-tons with auxiliary sail as well as assistance towing endorsements. As a PADI RescueDiver, he loves to spend time beneath the surface whether it be to admire coral or hunt for his next meal.

Growing up in rural town in Norther Kentucky, Jessi's childhood was basked in open-air exploration, and boating on lakes and rivers. She discovered the big mountains and deep seas when she moved to New Zealand in 2016. Jessi holds a degree in Environmental and Sustainability. She has worn many hats including outdoor mentor for children, hiking guide, conservation officer and first mate. Jessi's love for food began at a young age, always involving herself with the responsibility of sous chef. Inheriting her families love for shared dinners and delicious food, Jessi has worked in kitchens learning from professional chefs to self interest in local, nutrient dense whole foods; her menu is a reflection of all the places she has traveled.

Captain Inki and Chef Jessi have been traveling the lands and seas together since 2015. They met in New Zealand and consider the South Island their home. In 2019, they were married in the Appalachian Mountains. They have experience working on yachts as well as the tourism industry throughout the Caribbean, South Pacific, New Zealand, and the Eastern Coast of North America. They have transversed parts of the Southern Alps as well as the Andes of Peru, and have a strong affinity with the Amazon Jungle.

They are an adventurous couple that have made a lifestyle of their passions. Jessi and Inki have worked together as hiking guides, conservation officers and sailing crew. This dynamic duo share a strong work ethic, are community-minded and incredibly professional-all while ensuring a good time is had. They love sharing the wonders of the world with guests, with the intention to share a life of adventure and integrity. Be it under the water or on land, they are both natural leaders at guiding.

March 2023 Charter
We have not had a better family vacation. EVER. This was my husband and my second time aboard the PurelyBlu with Hannah and John. We were so impressed the first trip, that we couldn’t wait to bring our two kids back with us to share the experience again just in a new part of the Bahamas. Hannah, John and coral (the pup) are an awesome team. They make you feel as though you are home with them all day every day. They are both incredibly talented underwater photographers, and boat keepers. Hanna is a fabulous chef, she cooks up the tastiest fresh healthiest snacks, meals and cocktails. Her attention to details is amazing. There was never a meal that had the same table setting twice. Captain John is the underwater whisper; he will put out fish bait boxes for you to get up close and personal with all underwater friends. We saw (and swam with) black tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, nurse sharks, turtles, dolphins, and an abundance of beautiful fish. We pet sting rays and nurse sharks on this trip as well! Hanna and John’s passion for wildlife shows; they are kind, respectful and knowledgeable about the Sealife and definitely know how to show you a good time with them as well. My 6- and 8-year-old daughters were obsessed with the underwater scooters, stand up paddle boards and floating docks that they have aboard. They provide 5-star company and 5-star service the whole time. We have already booked out next adventure with them for whale sharks, and Bahamas again in a year. We cannot wait!!!! Thank you, Hannah and John!! We all miss you!!!!
February 2023 Charter
We spent a week aboard Pulley Blu and had a fantastic time. John and Hannah, organized a perfect week. We had a custom shark diving experience giving us memorable interactions with endangered great hammerheads, a tiger and bull shark, and the ever-present nurse sharks. Our adventures included snorkeling on a historic shipwreck and in a secluded bay, walks on uninhabited beaches, and photo ops galore. The food was customized and delicious. 2021-2022 Season
We spent 4 nights aboard PurelyBlu and it was not long enough! Hannah and John are phenomenal hosts (and Coral is really the star of the show)! There was so much attention to detail from start to finish. From the moment they picked us up we felt right at home. Hannah prepared wonderful meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks) that were always beautifully displayed each day. John was always willing to take us back to shore for anything we needed and adjusted the itinerary based on our mood for the day. They took us to a hidden beach, swimming with pigs, snorkeling in a cave, and to the yacht club for dinner. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience - THIS IS IT! What an experience! We extended our 3 night trip to 4 because we didn't want to leave! John and Hannah were gracious hosts and instantly made us feel at home. They make an excellent team and were more than accommodating and attentive. Hannah's attention to detail and preparation of beautiful meals and drinks made the trip even more luxurious. John's knowledge and leadership made us feel safe and prepared for any adventure! Swimming with sharks, feeding pigs, cave snorkeling, hidden beaches etc. Trip of a lifetime, can't wait to come back!!! Bianca
2021-2022 Season
OMG... can’t believe I haven’t written my review yet, must clearly be because I’m still living off my high from the most thought out, well planned, inspirational and mind blowing experience I had. I left Purely Blu charters with even more of an appreciation for the open ocean, the sea life we get to co- habit with and enjoy. Captain John is incredibly confident and knowledgeable of the seas that he’s exploring, and has the best partner by his side doing it. Hanna whipped up the best creative delicious treats for every meal and snack one could possibly imagine. Of course we were all super excited to meet sweet sea pup coral too, she’s just such an added love to this amazing experience. Not only did I have an unforgettable experience with my husband and friends, but booked to return in February with our children to let them explore with us all too. WHAT A TRIP, still on cloud 9!
