Crew
CAPTAIN – Dimitris Dalakos
Captain Dimitris was born in Athens, Greece in 1980. He is a third-generation seaman and from a very young age he helped in his uncle’s off-shore yachts. At the same time, he was sailing Optimists and Lasers and was always in the sea.
His professional career started back in 1994 when he worked as a deckhand on S/Y Stella, a 1950 classic wooden sloop.
When he was 18, he got his offshore skipper’s license and since then, he has sailed various sailing yachts both monohulls and catamarans, always aiming at improving his knowledge and sailing skills. He is quite well known for his great relationship with his guests and crew.
Another of Dimitris’ skills, deriving from his long experience as a professional DJ, is being a charismatic entertainer. He makes his guests feel like family while skilfully presenting the beauties of his country; according to them he knows the Aegean like the back of his hand.
In his free-time, Dimitris loves spending time with his family and dog, playing tennis, and doing water sports. He is also a keen photographer and videographer. He speaks Greek and is fluent in English. He doesn’t smoke.
COOK/STEWARDESS – Alexandra Selima
Alexandra was born in 1979 and grew up in Athens. From her schooldays she had a passion mainly for two things; cooking and sailing. So, it is no surprise that throughout her life she has been involved with these. She has an offshore sailing license and every year she participates in off shore sailing yacht races. She also has a professional Diploma (with Distinction) in Culinary Art from Le Monde Institute. Initially she had been working in restaurants but in 2010 she decided to combine her talents by working on yachts. She has participated in various culinary seminars. Her cooking is just amazing! She has also completed First Aid, Sea Survival and Maritime Radio Operation courses at RYA. She is a cheerful and communicative person who loves caring for people. Her hobbies include reading, tennis and travelling. She speaks Greek, English and a little Italian.

Best vacation of our lives
I’m not sure where to start but not only was this the best vacation our group has experienced, it was possibly the best week of our lives. We all agreed that the only thing that could make the trip better is an additional week! The boat (Royal Flush) is a masterpiece in itself—immaculate and spacious, high-tech and (extremely) well equipped. I can’t imagine there’s a better boat out there. The Saronic Islands are not to be missed and while we thought the popular Cyclades were the ideal spots, you’ll have to twist my arm to get me to go anywhere else. I’m convinced the Saronic are heaven. The sunrises and sunsets give pause and time stops in those moments. I hope everyone gets to experience this at least once in their lives. I believe the relaxation, happiness, and bliss our family experienced that week is the meaning of life. Chelsea C – USA
